14 Aug Dakine 420 vs Athena Week 11
We are getting close to the end of the growing phase of this challenge. All 4 plants remain healthy, and the buds are continuing to develop and swell. The Athena plants continue to drink about twice the amount of nutrient solution as the Dakine do, secondary to the differences in size. All the plants are loving the Grower’s Choice ROI-E 720 with the Bloom Booster UV bars. The leaves have not shown any evidence of burn even at 100% and this light produces minimal heat increase in the tent. The Autopots are working flawlessly, and I continue to enjoy the ease of watering with this system. I have been impressed with the quality of the Gorilla 5×5 tent that I have used for both challenges. I had to add a second scrog net to the Athena plants as the heaviness of the buds had started causing the colas to bend. I will start flushing the plants during the coming week per their feeding schedule. Here are the photos from the start of week 11.
