21 Dec Lotus vs Athena Week 3
It has been 3 weeks since my last blog and I apologize. The holiday season has been very busy as well as planning our stores Grand Re-Opening in our new store space on Draft Ave. in Stuarts Draft. As usual the beginning phases in the vegetative state can be a little slow till the clones take off in their growth. This week I have seen a lot of growth in the older Durban Poison clones. The Lotus clone has had a slightly higher rate of grow than the Athena. In the NYC Diesel comparisons, the Athena has had more rapid growth than the Lotus, and I am beginning to think that maybe certain strains will actually grow faster with different choices of nutrients. The Lotus Durban Poison is developing 7 sections on its fan leaves while the Athena plant only has 5 at this point. The Lotus NYC Diesel is smaller in stature and has smaller leaves than the Athena NYC Diesel. The NYC Diesel clones started out about 1 and 1/2 weeks behind the Durban Poison in development when they were placed in the Autopots. The ph has been running between 5.9 and 6.1 in the reservoirs without any adjustments. The Grower’s Choice light is set at 50% and is around 30″ from the plants. Here are the pics from last week.
