Lotus vs Athena: Week 12

We are now 6 weeks into the flower stage of growth. Three of the plants started fading about a week ago, which surprised me. Last winter in my first nutrient challenge the same thing occurred. I am beginning to think that the ambient temperature has something to do with the early leaf fading. The garage temp has remained a constant 62 degrees during this grow. The lack of stretching of the plants may also have something to do with the lower temps in the garage. While I was down with my shoulder, I did suffer an infestation of aphids which also may play a role in the shorter plants this time. I tried several pesticide sprays, but with not being able to get fully under the leaves and through the dense foliage due to my arm, I did finally revert to the use of some Ladybugs. Normally I reserve the use of Ladybugs to the vegetative stage but needed to try something to get rid of the Aphids. The Grower’s Choice ROI-E 720 remains at 100% and the humidity in the tent in running between 48 – 54% without the use of a dehumidifier. The plants are drinking about 1/3 gallon of nutrient solution per day. Here are the pics from this week.
