27 Apr Conclusion: Lotus vs Athena
It has been about a month since I cut down the plants. The plants dried for a total of 14 days with a combination of use of both a humidifier and dehumidifier to maintain the humidity in the tent between 58 and 63%. The total weight of dried product was 5 oz each for both of the Durban Poison plants and 4 oz on the Lotus NYC Diesel and 3 .5 oz on the Athena NYC Diesel. Once again on the taste test the Lotus produced a smoother smoke with slightly better flavors. We had all 4 plants tested for THC through Seido Labs in Waynesboro, VA. All of the samples came in about the same except for the Athena NYC Diesel which was almost 2% lower than the Lotus NYC Diesel. The Durban Poisons both were close to 15% THC as well as the Lotus NYC Diesel. I will be starting another Nutrient Challege in June with some Slurricane clones, and will have Floriflex going head to head with Canna.
