29 Jun Floraflex vs Botanicare: Week 3
Monday started the 3 week of this nutrient Challenge. The AutoPots were filled with the nutrient solutions on Day 1 of the second week (June 19th). The plants did start up -taking the solution as soon as this was done, so the the roots had already reached the bottom of the Autopots. One week later the plants are showing accelerated growth and the four clones have doubled in size from when they were placed in the pots. All of the plants have nice green leaves and the plants all look very healthy. There is a difference in the leaf size between the Floraflex and the Botanicare, with the Botanicare leaves winning out. The Grower’s Choice ROI-E is at 50% and the humidity in the tent in running between 55% to 62%. When mixing the solutions for the reservoir, the Botanicare solution comes out at 6.0 ph without any manipulation, however the Floraflex comes out a little high at 6.5 and needed to be adjusted down to between 5.8- 6.0.
